This area has the longest sand beach in Pattaya, which is about 5 km long. Jomtien has its own Beach road and 2nd Road, where lots of condominiums under construction, which are almost completed. The beach road has an alley which is under renovation now, few police boxes, water-sports center, beach volleyball playground, Night market with international food, lots of restaurants and bars, several high-rise condominiums with spectacular views over the Jomtien beach and the nearest Island, hotels, public transportation, convenience stores, banks, massage salons. Also there is a huge open-air sport center with football field, jogging trials, courts for tennis, volleyball, basketball and sepak takraw. Very good and comfortable place for living and for holiday vacations.
Next after the Jomtien area is Na-Jomtien with few high-rise condominiums and couple hotels located by the beach, several restaurants with always fresh sea food, boat marina for yacht lovers and a very clean and quiet beach.
Pattaya is not a big city and consists of 5 main districts/areas: Central Pattaya, North Pattaya, Pratumnak and Jomtien/Na-Jomtien and a huge East Pattaya area.
